The Signing Professionals Workgroup is a gathering of direct competitors of the mortgage finance and settlement services industries that have come together to create, maintain and promote standards for companies utilizing the services of signing professionals.

The SPW is committed to complying with the letter and spirit of state and federal antitrust laws. To this end, the SPW Standards are open and completely voluntary for SPW-member and non-member companies alike to adopt and implement.

The Signing Professionals Workgroup is bound by the SPW’s Antitrust Policy, which may be found in Section 8 of the Rules and Procedures. Upon joining the SPW, members must agree to abide by the Antitrust Policy. At the beginning of every in-person meeting or conference call involving SPW business, the chair or president must read the Antitrust and Intellectual Property Rights Disclosure and Consent found in Section 5.5.2 of the Rules and Procedures.
